About Department
Department of Commerce was established in 1971 with the sole aim of providing commercial education to the rural students. With Specialization Advanced Accountancy. Commerce faculty aims to develop student personalities in character in mind. Commerce department arranges various activities for improving student’s practical knowledge with confidence such like Industrial visits, class room seminar, wallpaper presentation, Group discussion Guest lecture, welcome and send off function. As well as motivate to the students for participated in various Lead college activities, workshops & Competitive exams
Ø Teaching
In addition to conventional method of teaching, charts, internet, LCD are also
used as and when required. Feedback from students and others reflect the level
and scope for further improvement.
Ø Learning
Besides learning in theory
classes, students also learn themselves by using computers, internet services,
tutorials/homework, project work assigned to them, also help in independent
learning. Students learn a lot during tours.
Ø Evaluation
The subject knowledge of students is evaluated through internal tests, group
discussions, oral tests and assessment of practical work, practical records,
and project work/tutorials. Final evaluation is through the University
examinations conducted at the end of semester for the courses run under
semester pattern and at the end of academic year for courses under annual
pattern.
